2001-2004Portfolio - eCircle AG

I worked at eCircle AG from January 2001 to October 2004, where I served both as a developer and team leader of the Graphic User Interface (GUI) team based in Munich, Germany. The GUI team was responsible for all user interface solutions designed for product development as well as the marketing and sales teams for the Munich, London, Paris, and Milan offices.

The GUI team developed and maintained the interface with the company's three product websites: domeus, ValueMail and eC-messenger, as well as the company's corporate website at ecircle-ag.com. The GUI team implemented and maintained the interface for the company's flagship product eC-messenger, a product that helped companies execute large-scale newsletter and marketing campaigns to audiences ranging from only a few hundred to millions of users. In addition to creating HTML newsletter templates and landing pages for eCircle clients, GUI also customized many eC-messenger features for use in such campaigns. This included the customized implementation of subscription boxes, customer surveys and user opt-out procedures. Through partnership programs, GUI also provided complete customized skins of eC-messenger to fit into the corporate identity of its clients.

domeus, ValueMail and eC-messenger provided a base of at least 14 million users that received newsletter campaign emails or those that made use of features that were available on the domeus, ValueMail and eC-messenger websites. eCircle clients included o2, Deutsche Telekom, ADAC, Deutsche Post, MTV, Federal Express, Nike, Allianz, Quelle, UNICEF, Sun and many more.
