The Tiger Roars

Almost a week after ordering the software, Mac OS X finally arrived from Amazon UK today in my inbox at work. During that time I’ve been reading up on both good and negative reviews and issues that have arisen since it was released. Based on what I’ve seen so far, the reviews have been great, but it has not been perfect sailing when it has come to installing it.

As a result, I thought it might be a good idea to document the installation process as I go through it, so that someone may learn from my experience, both good and bad. Also, Apple boasts 200 new features in Tiger, and I plan to test as many of those features as possible and document them here.

And just to point out, I am upgrading from Panther 10.3.9 to Tiger 10.4.
